DairyCo is touring the country with a series of roadshows to directly reach more of its levy payers.  The 'Working with You' roadshows will feature market updates, presentations on technical subjects and discussions on topical industry issues.

"We want levy payers to see first-hand the excellent work that is done with the funds they provide and encourage them to get directly involved," says DairyCo director, Duncan Pullar, who will attend many of the roadshows.  "It will be an excellent opportunity for dairy farmers to ask questions about our activity and spend. We will be in listening mode too - we always want to hear about the needs of dairy farmers and how we can help.

"We have an energetic team of extension officers and researchers with great expertise and a fantastic range of tools, services and information to share.  All levy payers have contributed so we want to make sure that they all have access to the work they have funded.   

"We also want to give dairy farmers the opportunity to find out more about research programs and cross-industry activity that they may not always be aware of.  It's easy to miss the effort that DairyCo puts into generating new knowledge for the future."

The next Roadshow is at Allerton Court Hotel, Northallerton, DL6 2XF on 27 October at midday.  The meetings are open to all levy payers and farm staff.
