UK butter prices reach record levels at £3,800/tonne

As a result of concerns around EU butter stocks going into the Autumn and competing demand between export and domestic markets, the UK butter price increased by £350/tonne between May and June to record levels.  AMPE increased 1.8ppl to 35.2ppl in June.  The April farmgate price fell 1.2% to 26.24ppl creating a gap with AMPE of 5.76ppl.  For more information:
