Muller to acquire Robert Wiseman Dairies

Robert Wiseman Dairies has accepted an all cash offer of £279.5m from Muller.  The German company will pay 390p per share.  Muller Dairy is the UK market leader in chilled yoghurts and potted desserts and is acquiring in Robert Wiseman Dairies a major milk company which provides 30% of fresh liquid milk in Great Britain.  The combination of these businesses will create a formidable leading dairy player in the UK milk market.
