New monthly fuel price tracker

The average price of red diesal increased for the 4th consecutive month in January, reaching 62.7ppl, its highest price since 2008.  Crud oil, which now exceeds $100/barrel has forced red diesel prices up.  The increae in fuel duty on 1 January has also contributed, adding 0.15p/litre.

The oil price information page on the Datum website has been replaced by a monthly fuel price tracker which shows latest price movements for crude oil, red diesel and retail (pump) diesel with historical data going back five years.
