The data below covers the monthly average milk quality for Great Britain from 2008.

Bactoscan levels for March were 1,000/ml less than those in February at an average of 26,000/ml, while compared with March 2013 bactoscan levels were 5,000/ml lower. Average Bactoscan levels for the 2013 year stood at 27,000/ml, down 3,000/ml from the 2012 average.

SCC levels stayed the same at an average of 161,000/ml between February and March 2014. This is 11,000/ml less than March last year. For the 2013 year the average cell count stood at 171,000/ml, 15,000/ml below the 2012 average of 186,000/ml.
