Butterfat

The average EU butterfat figure for January 2014 stood at 4.04%, down 0.07 on the month, while the year on year decreased by 0.05 percentage points. EU Milk Composition Butterfat 

Protein

Average EU milk protein content for January 2014 stood at 3.36%, 0.06 percentage points lower than December 2013 and 0.02 percentage points lower than January 2013.
