Butterfat

The average EU butterfat figure for March 2014 stood at 4.01%, down 0.05 percentage points on the month, while the year on year decreased by 0.07 percentage points. EU Milk Composition Butterfat 

Protein

Average EU milk protein content for March 2014 stood at 3.34%, 0.02 percentage points lower than February 2014 and March 2013. The average EU protein level in 2013/14 stood at 3.35%, unchanged on the year. For more information on protein levels by country click here.
