The Centre for Dairy Research (CEDAR)
The group was formed in early 2004 from a merger of the
Nutritional Sciences Research Unit (NSRU), the Centre for Dairy
Research (CEDAR) and Biomathematics. The key research strategy of
the Group is to carry out research on 'animal
derived food products that make a positive contribution to human
nutrition and are conducive to long-term health, produced in a
welfare friendly way while minimising production and environmental
costs'.

Founded in 1943, the Society of Dairy Technology (SDT) is at the
forefront of the dairy and food industries. It is dedicated to the
advancement of Dairy Science and Technology across all areas of the
