    A doubled sided lesion recognition card, to aid with recognition and classification of lesions seen.

    A handy two sided waterproof guide with capacities of footbaths from length and width figures along with a table showing the required amount of chemicals (liquid and solids) needed to produce the required concentration levels.
  • Minimising slurry pooling in dairy housing - Final Report13 August 09
    The aim of this project was to research practical, cost-effective solutions to slurry pooling and to disseminate this information effectively to the farming community.
  • Footbathing and Lameness: Effective management for dairy cows19 May 09
    An honest appraisal of your existing system will help to identify areas where there is scope for improvement, as well as confirming aspects which are satisfactory. Regular footbathing is beneficial to cows’ health. Every effort should be made to do the job as effectively as possible, with minimum disruption to the daily milking routine.
