Dairy Cow Welfare Strategy

This document is a summary of the progress made by the GB dairy sector in its quest for continually improving the welfare of the dairy cow. The Strategy was launched in August 2010 with the support of the whole dairy supply chain, all of whom have committed to collaborating to deliver on the self imposed targets which cover the range of management areas that impact on the welfare of the dairy cow, be it breeding, feeding or other factors.
