Dairy farm bureaucracy - The issues

MDC, wished to investigate the attitudes and opinions of dairy farmers regarding the increasing volume of bureaucracy and paperwork affecting them. Also, to investigate the methods of record keeping, to see how much time is involved, and who helps with the paperwork and whether it could be simplified.

A sample of 323 dairy farmers with more than 30 cows, was drawn from England, Scotland and Wales, in proportion to the density of dairy farmers in each county, which represent 2% of the relevant population.
