Benchmarking production and financial information for British Friesian herds

The performance of Friesian cows was investigated using a number of different methods, and compared with the performance of Holstein cattle. On-farm performance information was obtained from 21 herds keeping either Friesians or a mixture of Friesian and Holstein types.
