Deliverables for dairy farmers: Scientific report and recommendations of use to dairy farmers.
Sustainable Arable LINK project - to develop new approaches to systems, both in arable rotations and for mixed livestock farms, in which lupins contribute to competitive, high quality nutritional feed with lower potential for diffuse pollution of N and P from leaching and run-off. The project will also analyse the nutritional content of forage and grain lupin and assess its impact as part of feed rations and develop more competitive varieties with more reliable yields suitable for the UK.
