Calving Ease
The aim of this project was to evaluate the quantity and quality of calving ease information within the UK. In particular the objectives were:
- merging existing national data
- data characterisation and summary statistics
- genetic parameter estimation
- preliminary evaluation of paternal calving ease if objectives 1-3 provided satisfactory results
