I am your DairyCo extension officer for the North. I am the link between DairyCo and the farmer, and as a technical specialist I also have a depth of knowledge on lameness and mobility scoring which was furthered by being awarded the Nuffield scholarship in 2008.

One of my main roles within DairyCo is to facilitate knowledge transfer to farmers, this is via a number of ways including open meetings on and off farm, impact groups and also discussion groups.

My background is as a dairy consultant for a number of years along with being a herdmanager for almost 10 years working both here and overseas on herds ranging from 70 cows to 1000 cows. I have been with DairyCo as en extension office since December 2002.
