Introducing the Extension Team in your area
We arrange discussion groups on a variety of topics covering
many aspects of dairy farming, from mastitis control to slurry storage. We are
able to see what farming processes work, which do not and more
importantly why the processes work.
As a team we organise regular events and meetings to demonstrate
different approaches to farm management processes like grazing
management to improve farming efficiency.

Influential speaker and consultant Dr. John Roche will be coming to North on April 24th as part of a series of DairyCo meetings across the country discussing getting the most from grazing systems. Dale and Vale discussion group are holding the fourth meeting on dry cow management on 8th May, with speaker Richard Vecquerey, for further details please contact Jo Speed.
On 1st May at Hedley Hall at the NIAB centre, NIAB- TAG and DairyCo are holding a reseeding day for dairy, beef and sheep farmers where expert advice on reseeding and cutting edge trial work will be discussed. On the 9th May Jo will be running a mobility scoring para professionals training day in the Nantwich area, please contact Jo for further details. This one day workshop will look at the whys, whens and hows of mobility scoring using the DairyCo mobility score
