Correct building design is critical to ensure adequate ventilation. This is extremely important to maintain air quality. To ensure adequate ventilation, it is important that the building is designed to:
• Remove excess heat
• Remove excess water vapour
• Remove micro-organisms, dust and gases
• Provide a uniform distribution of air
• Provide correct air speed for stock
