What does it cost to run an 'X'?

Most electrical equipment will have a rating plate stating the power consumed in either:

• Kilo-Watts (kW)
• Watts (W) - divide by 1000 to get 'kW'
• Horse Power (Hp) - divide by 1.34 to get 'kW'

Using the use calculator you can work out the running cost for the motor for a period of time by inputting data in the cells with regard to output, cost of units of electric and time running.
