What is Milkbench+

Milkbench⁺ is Britain's only fully independent, confidential and impartial web-based dairy benchmarking system.  Milkbench⁺ asks for detailed information about your dairy enterprise and uses it to calculate key performance indicators such as yield per cow, kg DM per litre of milk produced and total costs of production per litre.

The programme generates a series of reports based on the information entered for your farm.  The reports compare the performance of your dairy enterprise against that of similar enterprises.

The dairy enterprise in Milkbench⁺ excludes your youngstock enterprise; the output from your dairy enterprise is therefore, in simple terms, only milk and the calves produced by your dairy herd at about 20 days old.
