• Kingshay Wales data shows that between December and January the average milk yield rose by 0.7 litres/day (2.8%).
• Butterfat levels stood at 4.12% for January, down 0.04 percentage points over the month.
• Protein levels fell 0.04 percentage points from 3.28% in December to 3.24% in January a decrease of 0.04 percentage points.
• The average milk price in Wales decreased by 0.3ppl (1.0%) to 28.95ppl in January.
