Fertiliser Prices
- The average prices of blended fertilisers decreased between December and January.
- Bagged 20:10:10 blends were £20/tonne (5.9%) lower on average in January than in December.
- The average price of bagged 25:5:5 blend was also down £20/tonne (6.0%) on last month, and was £4/tonne (1.3%) higher than January 2011.
Bags of blended 17:17:17 were £13/tonne higher in January 2012 than they were at the same time last year, at an average price of £379/tonne, an increase of 3.6%. Bags of blended 15:15:20 fertiliser had an average price of £361/tonne in January, £10/tonne up (2.8%) on January 2011.
The average price for 34.5% N AN bags remained unchanged between December and January, an increase of 14.3% (£43/tonne) on the January 2011 price.
