- World exports fell between 2007 and 2008, with the exception of SMP.
- SMP exports rose by 50,000 tonnes (4.5%) between 2007 and 2008.
- Cheese exports saw the larges volume fall, falling by 200,000 tonnes to 1.4 million tonnes.
