Introducing the team in your area

We arrange discussion groups on a variety of topics covering many aspects of dairy farming, from mastitis control to slurry storage. We are able to see what farming processes work, which do not and more importantly why the processes work.

As a team we organise regular events and meetings to demonstrate different approaches to farm management processes like grazing management to improve farming efficiency.

What's been happening?

• January 10^{th -} An on farm meeting for OMSCO suppliers was held at Angus Gaudie's, Stamfrey Farm, West Rounton near Northallerton. Ian Ohnstad spoke about parlour design, cow flow and cow signals when considering problems with cubicle occupancy. Angus is currently installing a new parlour and wanted suggestions and advice from all present so the changes to the plans could still be made! Sue Gaudie kindly catered for the lunch in the Gaudie's very own dining room, a great day made by fabulous hosts and a first rate speaker.
