Introducing the team in your area
We arrange discussion groups on a variety of topics covering many aspects of dairy farming, from mastitis control to slurry storage. We are able to see what farming processes work, which do not and more importantly why the processes work.
As a team we organise regular events and meetings to demonstrate different approaches to farm management processes like grazing management to improve farming efficiency.

What's been happening?
Thursday 5th December saw Sian Bushel deliver Succession Planning Training to Dairy/Sheep farmers in the Severely Disadvantaged Area (SDA) delivery package managed by Strutt & Parker. Strutt & Parker’s Fran Branigan and Paul Dennison supported Sian – An insightful and challenging delivery – Feedback from the farmers was very positive.
12th December: Regional NFU Dairy Conference at Skipton was well attended. Two local farmers caught a lift over the dales to hear some very good speakers including Amanda Ball.
During February Amy hosted 2 open meetings in Skipton and Huddersfield. The meetings were on Housing, particularly focused around calves and youngstock. We had very good turn outs at both.
She also hosted a meeting on Staff management and motivating change in Whatton, Nottinghamshire. The speaker at the meeting was Heather Wildman and attendees went home with some very useful tips and ideas.
