Julia Hawley

Julia runs a mixed dairy, arable, beef and sheep farm near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, with her husband and his family.  This includes a herd of 60 pedigree Holstein Friesians producing milk for Stilton Cheese.

Heavily involved in Higher Level Stewardship, wildlife and heritage conservation, Julia hosts educational visits as well as talking to schools and other groups on land-based careers and other rural issues.  She has also just finished a term as Chair of UK-IDF.
